Mr. Lee joined TruBios in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Business Development. He is responsible for managing the finance, business development, and corporate development activities at the company. Mr. Lee has over 10 years of experience consulting Wall Street firms on specialized structured financing transactions for healthcare and life science companies. David also serves as Senior Managing Partner of TruBios Ventures, where he is involved in deal origination and assists portfolio companies with capital formation and corporate strategy.

Prior to joining TruBios, David was a founding member and Managing Director of a New York-based boutique investment research firm focused on analyzing equity and equity-linked private placements executed by publicly traded and privately held companies. He has consulted many of the leading investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity and venture capital firms, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, UBS, Blackstone, Highbridge, and Ramius Capital.   He has also worked with academic scholars at Harvard, Georgetown, Stanford, and Johns Hopkins. Mr. Lee began his career as a management consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and Accenture Ltd. advising clients on corporate strategy, including joint ventures and acquisitions.

David holds an MBA in finance from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University and a BS in mechanical engineering from the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland.

Mr. Lee is co-author and contributing editor of "The Issuer's Guide to Private Investments in Public Equity: New Markets, Deal Structures, and Global Opportunities" published by Bloomberg Press.
